Everyone's Garden By limiting stone inscriptions to names and places it enables 'your' garden to mean anything you want it to mean ..... memories of happy times in the Lakes, old friends, special occasions, or of course, memories of a dear loved one. Show your love for the Lakes For many of us the Lake District has a special place in our hearts. Sponsoring a daffodil or stone not only shows you care, it shows you care enough to make a significant donation to help heritage and environmental projects in the Vale of Grasmere.
Many of our sponsorships are made in the name of a departed loved one(s). The garden is not a memorial garden which is why we don't allow 'dates' etc. on the stones but in the Book of Friends we have a special memorial section where you can have a dedication up to 50 letters plus your name(s) and the name(s) of those to be remembered. The note cards you receive can form a lovely keepsake and reminder of their link with this beautiful place.
Planting a daffodil for a friend is a lovely idea. You will receive the note cards as well so it is like two gifts in one. We also can give you the printed self adhesive label below to affix to the pack of note cards.
