Hidden in the centre of the charming village of Grasmere can be found the Wordsworth Daffodil Garden, a haven of peace and tranquillity nestled between the churchyard and the river Rothay and overlooked by the poet laureate's grave.
Here, in this idyllic natural setting, you can express your love of the Lake District, or remember a departed loved one, by sponsoring a personally engraved slate paving stone, a shrub, or a wild daffodil....... that quintessential bloom made famous the world over by Wordsworth's poem.

Through a specially initiated Registered Charity the garden was created in 2003 as a community project and is being continually improved. The sponsorship scheme has already raised over £100,000 for local causes and funds have been reserved for the professional maintenance of the garden for its long term future.
Come and enjoy the spirituality of the Wordsworth Daffodil Garden. It forms a centrepiece to one of England's most renowned villages where locals and visitors can wander, or sit and contemplate the bounty of nature's evocative surroundings.
